Checklists........i know people that loves those things,me..???
I hate them,okay..okay,hate is too strong a word,i dislike them,for me it's just another paperwork,another list to be ticked.Bosses love them because it make work easier for them,all they have to do is check the checklist to see what are you doing/not doing and something to get back at you when things go pear shape.They have an evident that you're to be blamed for it,imagine this;you've ticked the checklist about say the printer,you believed it was in working order in the morning,4 hours later that stupid thing decided it needed a break,and it was your fault because you ticked the list saying that it was working????!!!!Go figure...
To be fair,not all the checklist are useless i guess,we have been bombarded with so much works in the last couple months when the CEO decided that we didn't have enough things to do and company can save 1 million/years by fired few people off and spread the work load to us that sooo lucky we still have a job that we should gatefully take the extra works,no pay rise either thankyou very much.Back to the topic:p,yes work had been crazy,so much things to do that sometimes you forgetting some of your task like lunchbreak with your peer*i really miss that*.So the boss came up with the idea of more checklist,i swear that must be his midle name,or at least he wish it was the way he threw the word around...this is not so bad apart from the fact that it will go into filling cabinet everyday,another evident to goes againts you i guest
Than again,i should be gratefull i still have a job....so Thank God,just remember no pain is no gain even when you think is all pain and no gain......be gratefull,smile and embrace the change because shift happen...:))
